- Hoopla searching in Next Search Catalog
- We will no longer be adding Marc records for Hoopla titles to the catalog
- New feature allows patrons to search all of Hoopla when searching our catalog

- Placards for Flipster and Hoopla keywords

- Item type changes
- Video (Television) – Item type code = NVIDTV
- Live on our server today
- Every library now has a circulation rule for Video (Television) that matches their circulation rules for VIDEO
- Contact nexthelp@nekls.org to change the circulation rule
- You will need to update the item type on items owned by your library (instructions here) or ask for help at nexthelp@nekls.org

- At the meeting “Costume,” “Mask,” and “Video (digital player)” item types were also suggested and may be incorported into the timeline at this link
- Changes to patron category descriptions
- 6 patron categories are not automatically billed for items when they have been overdue for more than 45 days
- The names of those categories have been updated to include “(exempt)” after the name of the Category
- The timeline of the automatic overdue item deletion process is at this link
- To get a count of borrowers at your library in all categories plus an indication of which categories staff at your library can use, run report 3361
- The Library associate (exempt), Student (exempt), and Teacher/Faculty/Administrator (exempt) all have corresponding non-exampt counterparts. If you want your patrons in any or all of those exempt categories updated to their non-exempt counterparts, let us know at nexthelp@nekls.org
